Reddit has become a key citation source for AI search. Per Search Engine Journal, one in five off-page citations in AI answers points to Reddit, up 30% year over year.

Why: when generating an answer, AI systems draw on 5-16 sources, and Reddit leads in nearly every tracked niche — 500M weekly active users provide the human context models value. Google already surfaces Reddit threads right on business profiles.

  • local landing pages with schema markup;
  • local FAQs that AI can reference;
